Paygrid — the agent payment grid

Paygrid is payment infrastructure for autonomous AI agents. Your agent gets a wallet, you top it up once, and the agent pays per service call in USDC. No shared API keys, no monthly seats, no surprise overage emails.

How it works

Why USDC and not credits

Credits are an IOU from a vendor. USDC is a balance.

When your agent runs at 3 a.m. and the vendor is down, the credits are stuck. The USDC is not. Chain settlement also means the receipts are public — accounting becomes grep.

The credit ledger (under the hood)

Internally, every operation goes through a double-entry ledger keyed in USD-cents. Top-ups land as credits, service calls debit them, the platform pays the vendor in USDC, and the chain settlement reconciles against the ledger. You don't have to think about this — but if you want to, see Architecture › Ledger.

Crypto-native? Fiat-native? Both work

• Fiat path — Stripe Checkout, card or iDEAL, credits in seconds.
• Crypto path — send USDC directly to your agent's address on Base, Solana, or Tempo. The watcher auto-credits the ledger within ~30s on Base, ~30s on Tempo, ~10–60s on Solana.

Same ledger. Same balance. Same per-call billing.
